One of the level designers of this new map is Sean Wiederhof who previously worked on several AAA games like Call of Duty, We Happy Few and other visually stunning projects. For the original Playerunknown's Battlegrounds map, Wiederhof created an infamous military base.
Also the third map is developed. It may resemble the Mediterranean coast with a forest and a destroyed cosmodrome. All current and upcoming maps will also get new textures. Many first-party studios of Microsoft help Brendan Greene to improve the aiming system in PUBG. Recently it has been known that the authors of multiplayer/sandbox about pirates Sea of Thieves from Rare studios will help to develop the better physics for water surfaces in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
